Beginnings
Sandhills Soft Wash was established in October of 2019 by Chad Ellis, a local firefighter. The company originally began as a father and son business known as Ellis Exteriors with the intent of creating a plan to expand to more areas and larger projects in the future.
Unfortunately, during the summer of 2021, Chad's father unexpectedly passed away leaving all plans at a halt. But after much thought and planning, Chad made the decision to continue on with the vision he and his father had started of operating a small family-owned business. He decided to focus on the washing of home and business exteriors and changed the company name to Sandhills Soft Wash in 2022.
Moving Forward
Sandhills Soft Wash is not only owned by a First Responder, but also operated by First Responders. Our focus service areas include: Sanford, Cameron, Pinehurst, Apex, Cary, Raleigh, Durham, and surrounding central North Carolina locations.

From 2019 to 2024, Sandhills Soft Wash has exceeded expectations from their Ellis Exteriors beginnings. With a new and recurring customer base, different areas being added regularly, small and large scale contracts like commercial shopping centers, and new services, Sandhills Soft Wash now goes above and beyond being a small family-owned business.
